      Mark Speight was a BBC children’s television presenter. A coroner ruled that he committed suicide by hanging himself at a west London railway station in April 2008. The coroner, Dr Paul Knapman, stated that Speight was 'devastated' by the death of his fiancee Natasha Collins in January and that his subsequent suicide was a 'tragedy'.

      Mark Warwick Fordham Speight (6 August 1965 – 7 April 2008) was an English television presenter and host of children's art programme SMart. Speight was born in Seisdon, Staffordshire, and left school at 16 to become a cartoonist.
